Go Phones POS is the point-of-sale system used internally by Go Phones Alvin (1710 S Gordon St, Alvin, TX 77511) to run our store. This page explains what happens with your Google Account data if you connect Google Drive/Sheets to this software.
What we access. When a Go Phones Alvin staff member connects their Google Account to the POS software, the app requests permission to:
Create and edit spreadsheet files that the app itself creates in that Google Drive account (used to export sales and inventory data for backup and reporting purposes). The app can never see, open, or modify any other files already in that Drive account.
View the connected account's basic profile info (name/email) solely to show which Google Account is currently connected.
What we don't do. We never access your full Google Drive, Gmail, Calendar, or any other Google data. We never share, sell, or transmit this data to any third party. No data collected through this connection leaves the store's own device and the connected Google Drive account.
Where your data lives. All point-of-sale data (sales, inventory, customers) is stored locally on the store's own computer. The Google Sheets export is a copy of that data, written only into spreadsheet files the app created, inside the store's own connected Google Drive.
Revoking access. The connected Google Account owner can disconnect this app at any time via Google Account → Security → Third-party apps with account access, which immediately revokes all access.
